3D Rain Forest Adventure 5.0

Let me start off by asking you a simple question: when your computer goes idle, would you like a screensaver that displays a tropical forest to show up? If your answer went something like “you know that’s right”, then I present to you the Unique 3D Digital-offered 3D Rain Forest Adventure screensaver. There’s a version for the Microsoft-developed Windows operating system and a version for the Apple-developed Mac OS X.

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. So instead of using, well, significantly less than a thousand words to describe what you are going to see when the 3D Rain Forest Adventure screensaver kicks in, I am going to save me a lot of typing and present you with a Flash animation. Click this link and you will be presented with a Flash animation that will give you a pretty good idea of what the screensaver is like.

From the Flash animation you cannot tell that settings the screensaver lets you play with. I can’t weasel out of this one, so I am going to have to tell you what settings you can play with:
Sound –in the Sound submenu there’s a volume slider; move it to the left to decrease the volume, move it to the right to increase the volume. Move it all the way to the left to mute the screensaver.
Brightness – from this submenu you can adjust the screensaver’s brightness.
Set Time of Day – you can choose between High Noon, Dusk, and Night.
Tint – from this submenu you can adjust the red, green, and blue tint.
Reset All – click this button and all the settings will return to their default values.

Please note that the 3D Rain Forest Adventure screensaver is not offered free of charge, it is only free to try. By that I mean you can use it free of charge for a trial period of only 3 days. A registration reminder will show up from time to time while using the trial version.
